In 1981 & 1982 The Bings recorded an album's worth of original songs. They were being scouted by several record labels, but went their separate ways before all but two of these songs were ever released.

In 2020, 40 years later - Bings' bass guitarist, Mark Randle discovered the original studio master tapes in a filing cabinet in his home. The tapes were  rushed to David at Thin Brown Line in Long Beach, CA, where he restored the tapes and digitized the 16-track songs.

The Bings' 1980s producer, Guy Randle at Rosewood Recording Company remixed the tracks. Until now, most of these songs were only heard live in concerts and at dances. After 41 years the songs are finally out on CD and audio streaming sites, like Bandcamp and Spotify.
